Welcome to the Offices of Academic Personnel Services (APS) and Human Resources (HR) at Humboldt State University!

Academic Personnel Services

The APS team provides guidance and leadership for faculty affairs including Retention, Tenure, and Promotion; faculty recruitment; faculty leaves; Academic Student Employees; temporary Faculty assignments and entitlements; and labor relations for faculty.

The dedicated APS staff is committed to providing excellent service to create partnerships with campus programs and develop creative systems to attract, retain, develop and engage a diverse and talented group of faculty.

Human Resources

The HR Department at HSU includes human resources management, employment services, benefits administration, and training and professional development. Collectively, we support student success and the campus community through our core business functions and by fostering and developing strategic partnerships with stakeholders across campus.
