Sexual Exploitation, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Stalking,
and Retaliation
As part of the Office of Human Resources, we support Equal Opportunity by:
- Investigating complaints of discrimination, harassment and retaliation (DHR) from faculty, students, staff.
- Responding to complaints filed through outside agencies such as the Office of Civil Rights (OCR), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH).
- Participating as a members on various campus equity committees.
- Providing mandatory DHR and Title IX training to managers, supervisors, and staff.
- Give advice and counsel to various departments on equity issues.
- Prepare the annual Humboldt Affirmative Action plan.
- Administer the on-line sexual harassment prevention training program through Skillport.
- Facilitate the interactive process for providing reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities.
